Formula 3 returns with three days of in-season testing in Barcelona

After two entertaining rounds of racing to start the year, the 2024 FIA Formula 3 season returns to the track for three days of in-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Starting on Tuesday, the test will give the drivers and their teams a chance to put their learnings from the opening rounds into practice as they seek to improve their performance before the European leg of the calendar kicks off, starting in Imola for Round 3.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Running from April 16-18, the field will be given a total of six hours of track time each day. The morning session on all three days will start at 09:00 local time and will run until noon.
The afternoon session on the first two days will start at 14:00 before the chequered flag is waved at 17:00. There is a slight change in timings on the last day, as the final segment will start at 13:00 with the test ending at 16:00.
Pirelli will be allocating eight sets of the hard tyre to each car for the duration of the test, plus three sets of wet tyres should they be required.
